Same records. Less hunting.
MaxTrax 8 is an upgrade, not a move. Your team keeps its data and its habits, and gets a quicker way to the weld they need.
Your data stays put
Projects, ISOs, welds, inspections and test packages carry over as they are. Nothing to export, re-import or re-key.
Same rules, same statuses
Rejects, repairs, inspection rates and reports work the way your team knows. Back to classic view is in the menu whenever someone wants it.
Answers on the screen
Every screen has its own help page, with pictures and diagrams. Every setting has a plain-English hint beside it.
Six things your team will notice on day one
Each clip is under 25 seconds, with captions. Every screen is the real MaxTrax 8 running on a made-up demo project.
Easier to approve, easier to support
MaxTrax 8 runs on Windows and SQL Server, as today, with .NET Framework 4.8.1 on the server. These are the changes IT and InfoSec usually ask about first.
- Single sign-onPeople sign in with Microsoft Entra ID or Google. Local passwords keep working while you switch over.
- An audit trail of every changeWho changed what and when, with the old and new values, in a report you can filter.
- A support bundleWhen you need our help, an administrator downloads one file with personal details already replaced.
MaxTrax 8 is where we start
These are planned and not available yet. They have no dates, and we would like your say in the order.
- Ask Max. Questions answered from your own project data, with the source of each answer. Read-only, and on only if your company turns it on.
- From spec to setup. Inspection rules drafted from your client's specification, for your QC manager to approve.
- The field app. Works with no signal, big glove-friendly buttons, QR tag scanning.
- NDE requests across drawings. One request, split by contractor for you.
- Excel, both ways. Edit the project workbook and bring it back. Problem rows wait for a fix, and nothing is deleted by accident.
- Turnover databooks. Built from the weld and NDE record, with each gap and who owns it.
- The Monday brief. A weekly email of what moved and what is stuck.
- For IT. Users from your directory (SCIM) and an API for your other systems.
